Bruce Jenner, Whiplr and What We All Truly Want

Bruce-Jenner-Diane-Sawyer-Interview-490x316As should be evident to anyone who even has an inkling of modern-day happenings, there is a chasm of difference between what some people believe is the ‘right way’ to interact in society and the way real people live their lives in the here-and-now. With the recent Bruce Jenner reveal/interview with Diane Sawyer we certainly come to see that plenty of men are living or want to live as a woman, lots of women (those born women) identify as a man, and there are a whole bunch of folks who define themselves as transgender. It’s a great big world out there of people wanting simply to live their lives as peacefully and fulfilled as possible. Who’s to say really what’s right and what’s wrong for what’s in each individual’s heart.

A social network app like Whiplr is aware of the many possible desires and differences in the world. Created to link a global population of like-minded folks that the mainstream might label “kinky”, the men and women who come to Whiplr do so looking for one another-be it through chat (video and text), photos and every other which way-sensing that what they are looking for in their intimate encounters, or simply through their socializing, might fall far afield of what an eHarmony might be able to offer…but still be something they need and find legitimate.

This legitimatizing of one’s deepest feelings sits at the root of what Bruce Jenner is looking for as well as what lots of people want when they log-onto a social portal where they might very well be spending lots of time. And to log-on mobile, which is what an app like Whiplr is all about, is what anyone, from the slightly alternative-minded to the most mainstream dater needs most in this consistently updating landscape where hopefully Bruce Jenner’s plight may one day not make news at all.
