The 6th Annual London Fetish Weekend

As with many things that come to my attention here at the expansive Von Gutenberg office suites and horse stud farm, an announcement was just emailed to me by the powers that be (one in fact who will be appearing in our issue #8) that tickets are now on sale for the 6th annual London Fetish Weekend. As always it will no doubt be a wonderful few days in September out there in ole London town. Early bird tickets are a great value for all the fun that’s going to take place from September 13th to the 15th.

The weekend kicks off with a seriously fun play party in the plush venue Protocol, in Vauxhall. Sponsored by Hog Spy & Domme Trips there will be a playroom, couples area, chill-out area and dance room. Saturday sees the return of the London Alternative Market at Electrowerkz in Islington. Double in size to a regular LAM it will be the host to 50 plus stallholders. Special offers and deals will be available on everything from clothing to equipment and shows, workshops, drinks and food will be available throughout the day.

You can book a stand if you want at:

The LFW Ball this year is a collaboration of FIVE top London fetish events; Bound, Club Decadence, Imaginarium, Wonderland and Club Subversion who will all be bringing their unique style to the multi-roomed venue, The Colosseum, in Vauxhall. If you have ever gone to our Fantasy Event List you’ll see we list many events during the year by the LFW’s sponsors and we can attest to how perfectly they get the details right for lifestylers. At the ball the Decadence Team will greet guests, there will be a huge dungeon by Subversion, a dance and performance room by Imaginarium, a fun play area and separate naughty room by Wonderland and a bondage stage and performances by rope expert Esinem & Bound.

It’s a whole bunch of fun and socializing under one roof.

Not that the weekend is over on Sunday. That afternoon there will be a screening of the cult film, Preaching to the Perverted, at the boutique Shortwave Cinema in Bermondsey Square near London Bridge. The LFW have donated 5 pairs of weekend ‘all events’ tickets to help support their Kickstarter campaign to digitally re-master the film and all profits from the event will go towards the project.

Right now you can get a limited release of weekend packages for ALL events at just £50 and earlybird LFW ball tickets at just £15. For more details on all this one-of-a-kind happening and to buy tickets go to:

Be sure to tell the LFW we sent you :)

Club Subversions 6th Birthday in London

Erik von Gutenberg is proud to announce the 6th birthday of Club Subversion in London November 6, 2010.

DOUBLE CELEBRATIONS! We are delighted to announce that not only are we SIX YEARS OLD on the 6th November we also move into our NEW VENUE! We can’t promise we won’t move or get moved again but hopefully we will be here for a while. What we can promise is that you will love this venue. For those of you who love to play we have a huge dungeon area including a separate medical room and a separate couples room and for those of you who like to dance there is a basement dance room….and it is just down the road from where Subversion used to be held so you should know the area well!

As you would usually expect from Subversion the playrooms will be crammed full of lovely equipment from Playpenz and we will have our lovely resident DJs kicking ass on the decks. If you are a regular Subversion goer then you have to come and help us celebrate this double whammy, if you have only been a few times then this is an event not to be missed and if you have never been before then what are you waiting for? This is bound to be a seriously kinky event.

The theme for the birthday month is 666 to tie in with our 6th birthday being on the 6th, feel free to make up where the last 6 comes from! So think dark twisted thoughts and with it being so close to Halloween you should be able to come up with some fun outfits. Please remember Subversion has a strict fetish dress code, in fact we are renowned for it and it is even mentioned in the  Subversion review for the London Fetish Weekend Special on the Fetishistas site……there are lots of photos on there from the weekend too.

London Fetish Weekend 2010

Erik von Gutenberg recommends the London Fetish Weekend starting October 1, 2010!

Now in its third year, the London Fetish Weekend is firmly in the diaries of kinksters worldwide.  Tickets have been selling fast and include guests from around the globe and as far away as Australia!

The fun packed weekend offers something for everyone and kicks off on 1st October with a Club Subversion Special at the Colloseum in Vauxhall. The theme for this year’s event is Uniforms which is great for boys and girls! Subversion will have five themed areas including a huge dungeon area by Playpenz with ambient music so you can hear your whip crack, a French maid cafe with maid service, a pumping dance area with resident DJs Markie Moo, Si and Bas along with guest DJ Miles. Doors open at 10pm and tickets are just £18 in advance or £20 on the door.

Saturday daytime is shopping time with the London Alternative Market at the Royal National Hotel near Russell Square. A great chance to pick up outfits, toys and accessories from some of London’s most talented kinky traders. As well as being a great place to shop it’s also a great place to meet up with friends or make new ones in the bar area. The market is open from midday to 6pm and is just £6 entry (tickets are available in advance or on the door).

Torture Garden, the world’s largest fetish club, presents the London Fetish Weekend Ball at Mass in Brixton on Saturday night. This huge event features 6 themed rooms, radical performance art, body ritual, fashion shows, burlesque cabaret, live music, art installations, eclectic music and an enforced fantasy dress code. The range of music from DJs including David TG, The Secretary and Jimmy Mofo will make sure your feet don’t touch the floor from the moment you arrive! Tickets are £27 in advance or £30 on the door.

On Sunday you can choose from twelve workshops within three streams of play; Fetish & Fashion, SM play and Bondage brought to you by SiMply Workshops and the LAM. Workshops start at midday and go on until 6pm but you can arrive when you want and choose which workshops you attend as the day goes on. Food and drink are available throughout the day and with tickets at just £8 for the full day it is a great chance to brush up on your SM skills and pick up tips on play and fashion whilst socialising and making new friends.

Finally, Sunday evening is After Pandora in London Bridge. The theme is Bedtime Stories and will entail an enchanting night of kinky fairy tales, a sexy playful night to wrap up a fabulous weekend of fetish clubbing. Tickets for this adult pyjama party are £10 and numbers are limited so make sure you book in advance.
